Larry Portzline of BookstoreTourism.com just sent out a press release about his BRILLIANT idea to load up a bus of booklovers and drive on a tour of bookstores. He's done trips from central Pennsylvania to NYC and DC.
The participants talk about books and bookstores on the way, browse stores for the day, and either talk or watch You've Got Mail on the way back.
It's a great way to support independents, increase awareness about the issues in bookselling, but mostly to connect readers with books!
