MBA Fall Trade Show and Sales Conference
Hi All,
This past weekend I was at the Midwest Booksellers Association (forumerly UMBA) Fall Trade Show and met a lot of booksellers. Some of them may be coming to this site for the first time.
Anthembooks.com been inactive for the summer as I prepared a house for habitation and traveled for the Phaidon fall sales season.
It's September, which means I need to make good on my vow to get back to blogging in the fall.
This week I'm at the Phaidon winter sales conference. It's strange that 48 hours ago I was on the show floor with my booth full of Phaidon books pimping the wares to booksellers and now I'm in London working at an internet cafe with loud brit pop in my ears and a cup of English Breakfast tea. The world is a strange place.
I had to leave the MBA show early, which is horrible show etiquette. I wish I could have stayed, but Phaidon was threatening bodily harm if I was late to our winter conference. Secretly, I was hoping to miss my flight so I could stay for the Sunday show.
