ack. I'm working on business card designs for Anthem Books. What's the best phrase to describe what I'm doing here? Website Marketing for Independent Bookstores? Web ideas for booksellers? The art of bookselling? I'm not a fan of the word "marketing". The second sounds too intangible. The third's a little pompous. It's not the art of bookselling, that's just what we're working towards.

Anthem Books, right now, stands for the website consulting I'm doing for bookstores using BookSense.com. I help stores use all of the site tools, advertise in ways they might not have time to do otherwise, and get their name out to publishers, authors, and other industry people to raise awareness about the stores. So far it's working great. Stores like
A Book For All Seasons are getting more press, putting their event pics online. Armchair Books is developing a relationship with more authors and building links to sell books. Liberty Bay Books is going further with their existing author relationships. And everyone is getting more email and orders.

But what's the catchy, four-word way to sum that up?
