The current discussion about diminishing book sections in local dailies reminded me about circulation and the ability to track traffic on websites. The newspaper chiefs don't know exactly how many people read their print book sections, but they can know how many people visit the section online. If we all visited the book sections a few times a month it'd help the editors know they're popular.
