Here's a story on two bookstores working with local high school students to open bookstores. The stores will be student-run satellites of the larger independents. One more reason why independent booksellers are vital community resources:

(Wouldn't it be great if these students all became booksellers after high school, and/or some moved into publishing during and after college? I love the idea of more programs to train professional booksellers.)
