Hot Book News: Bel Canto film rights sold
from Publisher's Lunch
Film rights to Ann Patchett's bestselling novel BEL CANTO, optioned by producer Caroline Baron (Monsoon Wedding), with the screenplay to be adapted by Naomi Foner (Running on Empty; Bee Season; Losing Isaiah), by Lisa Bankoff at ICM.
