Independent bookseller favorite Rick Bragg is in the news this week for resigning his position as a National Correspondent for the New York Times. This is a sad addition to the growing Jayson Blair story about news fabrication at the paper of record.

Bragg, author of Ava's Man and All Over but the Shoutin', has a growing reputation among booksellers and readers.
