Ruminator Reprieve 

from Publisher's Lunch:
A private investor has come in at the last minute to help St. Paul bookstore Ruminator Books strengthen its finances and continue operating in the face of more than $1 million in debt. In light of new developments, landlord Macalester College extended their deadline to raise at least $500,000 for another month, until the end of February. (The anonymous investor is said to be an alumnus of Macalester.)
