Harry Potter title announced
This came from a Scholastic press release I just received:
"JK Rowling announced on her website, jkrowling.com (great website!), today that the title for Harry Potter #6 will be HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE. She says up front that the half blood prince is not Harry or Voldemort. She also says she is writing the book and is NOT finished.
HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX will be available in paperback August 10. The last day to order from Scholastic is July 9 (but I’ll be out of town July 8-9). There is a 12 copy display, an 18 copy display and 24 copy mixed display (12 HP5 and 3 each of the backlist). Carton quantity is 24."
(I think it would be fun to start a rumor that Harry doesn't make it at the end of Book 6. Book 7 would be called "Ron Weasley and the Terribly Sad Conclusion". -jay)
