Ruminator to Close at End of July
Ruminator Books in St Paul, MN is closing for good. It's not a secret that the store has been struggling for years. Still disappointing. Argh. Another reminder that even great stores can disappear when support and energy aren't there.
I try to be inspired by all the new stores opening. Maybe this is a passing as booksellers get older and younger stores open up. It seems like some stores are destined to create a legacy that lasts beyond their founder, while other stores tie themselves too much to the energy of the owner.
