There is a flurry of excitement about the possibility of a new Tattered Cover location on the east side of Denver. Here's the best article I've seen on it.

Joyce Meskis, owner of the Tattered Cover, confirmed Monday she is considering opening a large bookstore inside the Lowenstein, touting it as an opportunity to help preserve the theater that has stood for more than a half-century.

"Yes, we are considering it," Meskis said. "It's a unique opportunity to put a bookstore in such a wonderful, historic building. There are many components to a project like this. No documents have been signed. There are a lot of moving parts."
