Position Available at American Booksellers Association 

The ABA is looking for a Marketing Assistant. This would be an excellent opportunity for an independent bookseller looking to move into the ABA or for a gateway job into publishing. I worked there for two years and can vouch for the people and the environment. Meg Smith, the contact person for the job, would be a great person to work with/for.

Marketing Assistant
American Booksellers Association Tarrytown, NY

Westchester-based national trade association seeks full-time marketing assistant with responsibility for membership prospects database maintenance; tracking and reporting on marketing campaigns; email and phone communication; market research; and marketing materials development and distribution. Excel, Word, and database experience required. Strong organizational and communication skills and previous office experience preferred. Marketing experience a plus, familiarity with bookselling, publishing and/or retail a bigger plus. There is great opportunity to grow in the association.
