New Series From Travelers' Tales

I was catching up on Jen Leo's Written Road blog and saw this post on a new book series coming from Travelers' Tales:
30 Days in the South Pacific: Urgent Call for Tales of Paradise

Imagine being sentenced to 30 Days…in paradise. 30 Days in the South Pacific is the first title in a new series from Travelers' Tales designed to give readers a quick view of a place and convey what it would be like to spend a month there. This series differs from traditional Travelers’ Tales books by presenting 30 short, snappy, but meaningful stories—a story a day—to help plan trips or while away the time. We are looking for engaging personal stories that capture a sense of place in Polynesia, Melanesia, and Micronesia. Maximum length is about 2000 words, but longer is O.K. if the story sings. Get your stories in today.

See Jen's blog for details on submitting stories. If you're a bookseller, look for the titles to start pubbing in October.

Hey Jen, is there going to be an Australia title?
