Kepler's Community Resurrection

One of the most uplifting stories in independent bookselling is taking shape in Menlo Park, CA with Kepler's Books.

Kepler's closed a few months ago citing changing market conditions. Customers, including some top employees at local Silicon Valley companies, banded together to form an Advisory Board. They renegotiated the lease and set up a stronger framework for the store to return.

The store is set to reopen on Saturday.

This is a BIG story that should be shouted from the rooftops.

Here's the local paper's article.
